Saint Xavier University was among the first universities to receive program approval for the Teacher Leader Endorsement by the Illinois State Board of Education. Receive this state endorsement from the institution that understands teachers should be recognized for their continuing leadership.

Prerequisites:

• Master of Arts: Teaching and Leadership (MATL)
• 2 years leadership at the school level
• Standard or master certificate
• Recognized as expert in taught subject matter
