Note eligibility for the Type 75 certification requires passing the Illinois Basic Skills Test # 300, the Type 75 Test #186 and all coursework toward the masters degree. Evidence of two years full-time teaching or working as school personnel in a P-12 school setting also needed. Already have a masters degree but interested in Type 75 certification? Complete the Type 75-specific coursework and, pending transfer course approval, become certified within 18 months.
