iRi’s High School Mathematics programs are best suited for teachers who are serious about attaining dramatic improvement in all students’ math confidence and performance to prepare for the demanding 21st century.

Professional Learning

iRi’s four mathematics professional learning modules for high school instruction are designed to help districts turnaround low performers and enrich high achievers in Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Probability and Statistics. All are geared to prepare students for our increasingly technological society.

Key components of each program include:

  • 14 hours on-site study for districts, schools, or a select group of math educators whom you would like prepared as in-house trainers to directly coach your teachers internally
  • iRi’s unique application of Feuerstein’s cognitive approach to the teaching of mathematics
  • Differentiated instructional strategies to meet the needs of both struggling students and future career mathematicians
  • Post-coursework coaching for successful implementation
  • Evaluation of student improvement in mathematics

We believe that employing our unique cognitive approach is particularly critical in high schools where many students continue to post low scores on required tests and too few high potential mathematicians embrace the subject.
