    • Extend such concepts as number sense, natural numbers, parity preservation, zero, rational vs. irrational numbers, operational logic, and algorithms
  • Strengthen cognitive functions that currently are limiting mastery of math concepts
    • Special emphasis on how to help students think mathematically
    • Enable students to become more precise and accurate with spatial and temporal relationships to allow mastery of accurate symbol and number representation
  • Discover innovative, cognitive-based tools to engage students in collecting and analyzing data, identifying and comparing geometric concepts, using appropriate arithmetic vocabulary, and defining problems accurately
  • Design lessons which incorporate research-sound strategies to teaching and extending core concepts based on your district’s curriculum and national standards
  • Develop process to quickly check students’ conceptual understanding, implement targeted lesson plans, and prepare for annual standardized tests
